An entire cookbook devoted to two of my great loves: cake and booze. I don't think there's any question that I'd be excited about this, the only question that exists is WHAT WILL I MAKE FIRST?
I've enjoyed Pink Champagne Cake before, and had a tipsy Tiramisu, but Honey Spice Beer Cake? Long Island Iced Tea Cakes? Rum-and-Coke Whoopie Pies? There's an entire chapter devoted to something called a cake shot! Every recipe in this book sounds delicious, even if you were to omit the alcohol (although really, why would you?)
Quickly! Someone have a bachelorette party! Is anyone turning 21 any time soon? When is my birthday?! I need an excuse to make some Booze Cakes, and I need someone to share them with, lest I be tempted to eat them all myself!
