Like most of us, Canadian artist Catherine Labonté grew up loving the joy and simplicity of cartoons. Now she is translating that love into art with her line of beautiful, cheery glass cats! Ms. Labonté says she hopes to "evoke laughter and wonder in order to lighten the heart," and these little cats definitely do just that! I'm not sure if it's the bright, clear colors, or the way the classic, elegant cat form is suddenly interrupted by the crazy kitten eyes...but these little guys have been making us smile all day!
