writer's note: oh no! Blogger glitched and we had two days WITHOUT ornaments? I hope you managed to come out of this with your cheer unscathed and we will make it up to you with some of the BEST ORNAMENTS EVER.
On the tenth day of Christmas, I put on my tree...
ten snowman heads,
nine paper fakers,
eight snowman snowglobes,
seven swirls of glitter,
six modest mice,
GOOOOOOLD, PURPLE RED GREEN
four cupcake cuties
three sparkly sparrows
two tiny martinis
and an underwater amigurumi!
(We fought it for as long as we could...but as soon as Thanksgiving is over, it is officially
C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S T-I-M-E here at The Afternoon! And to help you deck your halls and trim your tree, we are bringing you 12 days of posts about our wide variety of Christmas ornaments, everything from adorable to elegant to funky to modern.)
Poor snowmen! Someone has separated them from their chubby snowman bodies. They don't seem too sad about it, though; they're still sporting their coal-filled smiles and look as cheerful as can be. Maybe it's because they have such adorable headgear (check out those peppermint earmuffs!) or maybe it's because they have each other. There's a big basket of them waiting at The Afternoon for you to come claim them and give these dear headless snowman a home!
Coming up tomorrow: the cocoa cuties....
