Summer has finally arrived, and as excited as I am for trips to the lake and the ability to wear sandals, one thing I have missed the most in these long winter months is barbeque! Is there any more divinely simple way to cook than grilling? A grilled burger is a piece of uncomplicated culinary perfection and hotdogs that are charred to near blackness have been my most favorite favorite food since I was a little girl. Tell someone you're "firing up the grill" and you have an easy, casual party that people love; and a few minutes on the grill turns a dollar's worth of ground beef into a truly special treat.
The Afternoon has a number of innovative barbeque tools to get you cooking and fun, summery platters and serving bowls to amp up your summer get-togethers. My recommendation would be the BBQ Condiment Tray: a set of three 6oz hand painted earthenware bowls with lids, three plastic serving spoons, and metal tray, all shaped like tiny grills!
