The Sneaky Chef

Oh, summer. We love the sunshine and the pool but this heat? Not so much. The temperature in Omaha has been climbing over 100 all week! While we would love to wow our friends and family with our outdoor cookout skills, the thought of actually cooking kind of makes me want to cry.  Reductions and roasts are very nice in the winter but who can endure being by the stove when the whole world feels like an oven?
When I want to make it seem like I'm a spectacular cook but I don't want to put in the effort, I invest in a really good sauce.  Stonewall Kitchen has always been a favorite, and their sauces and marinades have been perfected for you in their award winning kitchens! All you have to do is slather some Roasted Peach Whiskey Sauce or Pomegranate Grille Sauce on some ribs or a great steak and throw it on the grill!.  Even easier--take some of the mouth-watering Pulled Pork Simmering Sauce, throw it in the crock pot with a pork roast, and go to the pool with your kids while a great summer meal simmers in your kitchen.

Still too much effort? Take the Buffalo Wing Sauce, some pre-cooked chicken, and some blue cheese crumbles, combine with bagged salad or wrap in a tortilla for a no cook, instant summer meal that is delicious enough to serve to guests...assuming anyone is willing to leave their houses in this heat!
