When the male finches turn completely bright gold, I know Spring is truly here. Yesterday there were 5 of them on my feeder and it was a spectacular sight. This year I have to buy one of The Afternoon's new unusual shell bird houses. Made of dozens and dozens of tiny shells, it should be able to easily resist the weather - and it is really beautiful.

Comfortable in its Shell
When the male finches turn completely bright gold, I know Spring is truly here. Yesterday there were 5 of them on my feeder and it was a spectacular sight.
