12 Days of Christmas Ornaments-Pretty Palettes
On the fifth day of Christmas, I put on my tree...
GOOOOOLD, PURPLE RED GREEN!

(We fought it for as long as we could...but as soon as Thanksgiving is over, it is officially C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S T-I-M-E here at The Afternoon! And to help you deck your halls and trim your tree, we are bringing you 12 days of posts about our wide variety of Christmas ornaments, everything from adorable to elegant to funky to modern.)
The combination of red and green has always ruled the Christmas season, and for good reason: they are the colors of holly, cranberries, evergreens, candy canes. The classics! But sometimes even the most beloved palettes can get a little played out, overused, and maybe even (dare I say it?) a little...boring. How can we revive the old stand-by? How can you save your tree if it's already done up in this palette?
Would you be surprised if I said...purple?
A new line of ornaments we received from 180Degrees had us all surprised: red and green coupled with gold and purple? Unexpectedly elegant, warm, and festive, this new combo might become a new classic--and with a variety of ornaments and garlands in these shades, The Afternoon is ready for the change!
Coming up next: something is stirring....
