12 Days of Christmas Ornaments-Mousy Mischief

On the sixth day of Christmas, I put on my tree... six modest mice, GOOOOOLD, PURPLE RED GREEN! four cupcake cuties three sparkly sparrows two tiny martinis and an underwater amigurumi! (We fought it for as long as we could...but as soon as Thanksgiving is over, it is officially C-H-R-I-S-T-M-A-S T-I-M-E here at The Afternoon! And to help you deck your halls and trim your tree, we are bringing you 12 days of posts about our wide variety of Christmas ornaments, everything from adorable to elegant to funky to modern.) I am not a big fan of mice--the living, breathing, occasionally in my kitchen real-life versions of mice--but a mouse on a Christmas ornament? Somehow, I'm sold! Maybe it's the callback to the classic "Night Before Christmas" poem, or how well those big old ears support a Santa hat. And just check out the tiny smile this guy is sporting--he definitely knows he's getting away with something! But tis' the season...for a truce. For now, Christmas mouse, we're good.
