My husband had an old pressure cooker which he loved. Whenever he made chicken and dumplings, his favorite, the pressure gauge rattled so loudly I was afraid it would explode (I know people whose old pressure cookers did explode with food going all over the kitchen). But the new Fagor 3-in-1 Multi-Cooker is completely different. Quieter, more versatile (a rice cooker and a slow cooker as well), even faster - and best, so much less expensive. Not only did I bring one home, I am going to give them as wedding gifts.
